This is not a simple gold bracelet. This is ten individual pieces of history, cast in solid gold and worn on your wrist.
Each of the ten rondelles is different. Not slightly different — entirely different. Each one was hand-cast individually from an authentic African collection bead, ancient originals used as currency and objects of trade across the continent for centuries. The casting process preserves every irregularity, every surface texture, every mark left by time. Ten beads, ten stories, none identical.
The gold is 18K solid — not plated, not filled, not vermeil. Cast by hand, one piece at a time. The color is that deep, warm yellow that only comes from high-karat gold: unmistakable in sunlight, extraordinary against skin.
They are strung on a double strand of premium kangaroo leather — thicker than usual, reworked and conditioned for maximum flexibility and resistance. The extra weight of solid gold demanded a cord that could carry it without compromise. The leather will develop a rich patina with every wear, darkening and softening until it fits the wrist like a second skin.
A single Tahitian black pearl, 9mm, grade B, round — serves as the clasp. Its dark surface grounds the warmth of the gold in something quieter. The contrast is deliberate.
