Five pearls. Each one comes from a different oyster, a different sea. The dark ones, near-black, with peacock and charcoal overtones are Tahitian, produced by the Pinctada margaritifera in the lagoons of French Polynesia. The lighter ones : white, silver, golden — are Australian, grown by the Pinctada maxima in the warm waters of the Indo-Pacific.
Together on the same cord, they create a composition that no factory could replicate, because no factory controls what an oyster decides to make over the years in the water.
Five pearls, 10 to 11mm, grade B, half-round. Selected individually for the quality of their luster and the integrity of their surface. Mounted on premium kangaroo leather — thick, supple, hand-cut and knotted with care. The leather is reworked and conditioned for maximum flexibility and resistance. It develops a rich patina with every wear, taking the exact shape of the wrist over time.
