Each focal pearl in this leather necklace is hand-selected from a personal collection — 16mm to 17mm+, half-baroque or drop shape, with the kind of deep luster that takes years for an oyster to build in the protected lagoons of the Tahitian islands. The "claw-mount" knotting technique locks the pearl in place while leaving it fully visible from every angle — delicate, resistant, completely original.
The clasp is a second genuine Tahitian pearl, 10–11mm, knotted with the same traditional sailor knot technique. Symmetrical knots run along the full length of the premium kangaroo leather cord, creating a rhythm that is both functional and beautiful.
Two kangaroo leather cords, hand-knotted with traditional sailor knots, frame the focal pearl with a secure Tahitian pearl clasp. A fixed length — specify your preferred length upon ordering — built to be worn every day, for life.
